The Trees Remember
[ 2025 ]
The Trees Remember is a campaign project that captures the presence and preciousness of nature encountered
during a summer in Seattle, Washington—also known as the Evergreen State.
The campaign centers around a short film, accompanied by posters and a brochure.

We are always looking at nature, but what if nature is also looking back at us?
In that moment of eye contact, are we not more deeply connected?
This campaign visualizes the sense of intimacy and coexistence that arises from “meeting eyes” with nature.
Imagining the world from nature’s point of view, it captures quiet, tender moments of connection between people and the natural world.
Like the trees that have always been there, nature watches over us—silently remembering every moment.
The soundscape is composed of field recordings taken from nature itself, allowing the viewer to feel nature’s gaze and subtle presence more intimately.
Following that quiet gaze, The Trees Remember reflects the lush, misty, deep green textures of Seattle’s unique landscape.
