Vivarium is an exhibition organized by my art crew Aeek in December, 2025, hold at Calarts. Vivarium is less a space that imitates nature and more a portrait that shows how we become certain kinds of beings within an ecosystem of our own making. Being part of it at its core, we exist as both creators and creations, observers and the observed. How are we to live on this blurry, obscure boundary?

Through the Pane is the wayfinding group project addressing the tragic bird collisions we experienced firsthand. Birds frequently hit our Graphic Design
BFA 3 and MFA studio windows at CalArts, with most either dying or suffering internal injuries due to their small, fragile bodies. Our team, DeMAKe, aimed to foster empathy and save the lives of these birds by offering practical solutions.

Historical Ornamentation Through a Single Motif.
This project explores how one motif can shift across cultures and histories through form and style. Also, the pattern-making process allowed me to deepen my understanding of visual hierarchy, which is a fundamental principle in design. The final patterns were implemented in packaging design to explore their practical application.
